Stolen (?) PSI-PCI EOI Stickers?

At PSI-PCI we frequently hear rumors circulating around the dive industry.  Some rumors can have far reaching effects impacting safety.

One that has come to our attention is that PSI-PCI is in trouble with USDOT and being fined because of a theft of PSI-PCI Evidence of Inspection (EOI) stickers.  This is unequivocally FALSE!

PSI-PCI EOI stickers are the only ones in use backed by training that meets the federal regulations for inspectors, fill station operators, hazmat handlers, etc.  If the inspector is not PSI-PCI trained or out of date with their training (required by USDOT every three years), then they do not meet the standard stated on the sticker.  If there is ever a concern, interested persons may contact our office and we will confirm the status of the inspector in question.

PSI-PCI maintains our integrity by regulating our EOI stickers and their use.  We will continue to do this no matter the circumstances.  We stand behind our trained inspectors!

If you have any questions regarding this issue, or if you are interested in taking the only formal training recognized by USDOT, CGA and cylinder manufacturers for visual inspection of specific high pressure cylinders, contact PSI-PCI.
